Using 2ndLine
2ndLine provides private second phone numbers for calls and SMS where supported. You agree to use the app lawfully, responsibly, and only in ways that do not harm other people, carriers, platforms, or communication networks.
Terms of Use
Effective date: May 8, 2026. These terms explain the rules for using 2ndLine, including subscriptions, numbers, calls, SMS, and credits.
2ndLine provides private second phone numbers for calls and SMS where supported. You agree to use the app lawfully, responsibly, and only in ways that do not harm other people, carriers, platforms, or communication networks.
2ndLine offers auto-renewable subscriptions such as Weekly, Monthly, and Yearly plans. Each plan shows its subscription title, duration, price, included credits, and renewal period before purchase. Prices may vary by country or App Store region and are shown by Apple before you confirm payment.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings.
A subscription may include access to a phone number while the subscription remains active. Numbers depend on carrier and provider availability. We may change, suspend, reclaim, or remove numbers if required by law, providers, carrier rules, abuse prevention, non-payment, or service availability.
Calls and outgoing SMS may use credits. Credit costs can vary based on destination, carrier, provider fees, and product rules. Incoming SMS and verification code support are not guaranteed for every sender, country, carrier, or third-party service.
Some third-party apps and services may block virtual, VoIP, rented, or second-line numbers. 2ndLine does not guarantee that any specific third-party app, including social or messaging apps, will accept or deliver codes to a 2ndLine number.
You may not use 2ndLine for spam, harassment, fraud, impersonation, illegal activity, abusive calling or messaging, bypassing platform rules, or any activity that violates applicable laws, provider policies, or App Store rules.
We may update, pause, or discontinue features when needed for security, reliability, legal compliance, provider changes, or product improvement. We will try to keep the app reliable, but communication delivery is not guaranteed.
